Adventure #81 - The Scrabble

I don't remember ever playing Scrabble. I think we had quite similar game when I was a kid but we played it once and that was all. I'm actually not even sure we finished the game.

This summer, I went to spend a week-end at my friend's Nadj and Seb in France. We were eight people who all went to the same university and very good friends who I don't see very often. It was super nice.

I arrived first with my friends Virigine and Baptiste and while waiting for the rest of the party to come, Baptiste suggested we play scrabble.

Did I ever tell you that I don't really like games? Mostly card games, I find board games a bit funnier. I guess I'm just not that into the competition thing.

But anyway, we played scrabble. I was not really good at it and found quite hard to think about words with the letters I had. But it is probably normal for a first time. Once your brain gets used to this, I totally understand how you can get into the game, trying to find the best places to put your letters and score more. I think it was a cool game, but I would probably not play it for hours.

  1. It was a real pleasure for me as I hadn't played it for years! (probably since my grandmother passed away, actually, and that was... 12 years ago!)

And of course it was a real pleasure to see you <3
